It's a medieval fantasy-themed bed, made of high quality solid materials, and decorated with loving care. My daughter loves it! Anyone visiting who sees the bed in her room always comments about what a wonderful girls bed it is, and my daughter is always telling her friends about it.
It's solid enough that a large adult can sit on it to read stories at night, I weigh about 250lbs, and it doesn't give at all - it has very solid bracing underneath. Since you get to put it together (that takes about an hour), you get a very good perspective on how well it's made. I expect this bed to last for years and years.
In fact, it's so well made, that when daughter #2 came along, I had to purchase another one for her! Now both of my little princesses have lovely matching beds!

I bought this for my daughter and it is PERFECT. It's well made out of quality wood and it is hand painted. It does take a little while to put together but it's worth the time and money spent.
